This tour provides an excellent overview of one of the oldest cities in the New World. San Juan 's rich diversity and cultural preservation is revealed through the blending of the old with the new, its beautiful beaches, and bustling metropolitan area.

After boarding your motorcoach, your tour commences with a drive through the glamorous Condado and Isla Verde section of new San Juan with its rows of modern condominiums, luxury resort hotels and casinos. Continue on to historic Old San Juan, pausing briefly along the way for a photo stop at the Two Brothers Bridge.

In Old San Juan, you will view the massive, ancient fortresses and great stone walls that have protected the capital since the "conquistadors" built San Juan in the 17th century. Stop at the San Cristobal Fortress, built in 1634 by the Spanish to guard the entrance of San Juan harbor. Drive past El Morro Castle and other historical monuments of the Old City including San Jose Church, the second oldest in the New World, and the Capitol Building, built in 1923.

Your last stop is Fortaleza Street where you will be afforded some free time to walk through the heart of Old San Juan to experience its old buildings, cobblestone streets, and wonderful shops. From there you may opt to be driven directly, or enjoy the short 4-block walk back to the ship.

Note: Tour sequence may vary to avoid congestion.
